Payment & Insurance

ClareMotion Physical Therapy does not contract with insurance companies. Our services are considered “fee for service,” which means that payment is made in-full at the time of service. As a medical expense, patients can also use HSA or FSA accounts to pay for physical therapy services. We accept payment through credit card or HSA/FSA card. We do not accept or participate with Medicare.

As an additional service, we submit and file claims on behalf of our patients with primary insurance carriers. 

(Please note: It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure the insurance provider properly processes the claims. ClareMotion is not responsible for any charges not covered by the insurance company.)

Dr. Danielle Clare, PT, DPT, CMTPT

Owner & Physical Therapist

Dr. Clare received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the prestigious Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.  She has extensive experience in evaluating and treating a wide range of outpatient orthopedic conditions including sports injuries, high performance athletic improvement and function, pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, spinal rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. 

Dr. Clare employs various manual physical therapy treatments such as deep tissue mobilization, myofascial release, joint mobilization and manipulation of the spine and peripheral joints, trigger point release, and cupping therapy. She also utilizes taping methods such as McConnell and Kinesio Taping. She is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling and is a Graston Technique Provider. Dr. Clare frequently incorporates these and other new and emerging treatments into her therapeutic armamentarium to provide the most effective care.

Embracing a holistic approach to patient care, Dr. Clare integrates her deep understanding of nutrition and wellness into her practice. She is committed to her core mission: to effectively care for a variety of client needs and provide the best individualized treatment in the greater Washington area.

Dr. Clare lives in Washington, DC, and is an athlete herself. She enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and competing in triathlons and Tough Mudder events.

Dr. Daniel Soler, PT, DPT, OCS, AIB-VR II, CMTPT, FSOAE

Physical Therapist

Dr. Soler, received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Drexel University and has been working in the district ever since. Dr. Soler is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), as well as a Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist, allowing him to serve a wide variety of diagnoses and diverse patient populations in his years of practice. 

Dr. Soler utilizes a variety of manual physical therapy treatments including dry needling, deep tissue mobilization, myofascial release, joint mobilization and manipulation of the spine and peripheral joints, trigger point release, and cupping therapy.

Dr. Soler appreciates a holistic view of the body that incorporates overall wellness into his treatments of musculoskeletal pain, understanding that pain is often multifactorial, assisting patients in living a pain-free lifestyle while performing all of the activities they love to do.

When he’s not in the clinic, you can probably find him somewhere in the great outdoors hiking, backpacking, skiing, or watching whatever soccer game is on that day. He’ll be cheering the loudest for Liverpool FC, up the reds! Dr. Soler is very excited to be able to serve the greater Washington DC community every day at our Navy Yard and U Street locations.

Dr. Hope Pickus, PT, DPT, CMTPT

Physical Therapist

Dr. Pickus received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University, and after attending her final clinical internship in DC, she decided to move to the district full time. Dr. Pickus utilizes a multitude of manual therapy techniques including deep tissue mobilization, myofascial release, joint mobilization and manipulation of the spine and peripheral joints, trigger point release, and cupping therapy.

Dr. Pickus received her Trigger Point Dry Needling certification and often employs dry needling along with specified movement to address her patients restrictions and deficits. Dr. Pickus received a minor in Integrative Approaches to Medicine and strives to help her patients reach their full potential by looking at them as a whole.

Dr. Pickus works with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, and has experience working with patients who have a POTS diagnosis, Fibromyalgia, and TMJ/TMD. She also received her LSVT BIG certification which allows her more insight into Parkinsons and other neurological diagnoses.

As an alumni of The Ohio State University, Saturdays in the fall are spent cheering on her Buckeyes. She has completed three half marathons, is an avid tennis player, and loves sitting in her hammock enjoying the beautiful weather.
